“Dance has been a part of my life for almost 18 years, and I’m incredibly grateful to now have the opportunity to share my love of dance with young dancers!
Throughout my years of training, I have studied and performed in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, acro, and hip hop, with a particular passion for ballet and jazz. I believe that being trained in a variety of styles has given me a well-rounded understanding of dance and allows me to bring different elements of movement, technique, and creativity into the classroom.
Our ballet training is based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, providing students with a strong technical foundation while encouraging musicality, artistry, discipline, and confidence. I believe that strong technique is an important part of every dancer's journey, but I also want our students to experience the joy, creativity, and freedom that dance brings.
One of the most special parts of my journey is that I am continuing a legacy that is very close to my heart. I reopened the studio originally founded by Joanne Mitchell-Agar, and later taken over by my mom, Mandy Livings. It is incredibly meaningful to have the opportunity to build upon the foundation they created and create a new chapter for the studio.
My goal is to create a welcoming, positive, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels like they belong. Whether a student dreams of dancing professionally or simply wants to dance for the joy of it, I believe there is a place for everyone in our studio.
To me, dance is about so much more than learning steps. It teaches confidence, discipline, perseverance, creativity, and teamwork while creating friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Watching our dancers grow not only in their technique, but as confident and compassionate individuals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I am so excited to continue this special legacy and to share my passion for dance with our studio family. I can’t wait to see where dance takes each and every one of our dancers!”

“I’ve been dancing for almost 13 years. Dance has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m so grateful that I get to continue growing as a dancer while also being involved behind the scenes at Academy of Dance.
Throughout my years of training, I’ve studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. Each style has taught me something different and has helped me grow not only as a dancer, but also as a person. Dance has given me confidence, creativity, discipline, and so many wonderful memories and friendships that I will always cherish.
I especially love working with our youngest dancers and assist with our Magic in Motion and Minis classes. There is something so special about watching little dancers discover the joy of movement for the first time. I love encouraging them, helping them learn new skills, and watching their confidence grow from week to week. My goal is always to make their classes fun, positive, and welcoming while helping them develop a genuine love for dance.
Outside of the classroom, I help with a lot of the behind-the-scenes work at the studio. As Erin’s sister, I get to be involved in many different aspects of the studio, from helping with day-to-day tasks and events to assisting with our social media. I love being able to support Erin and help bring her vision for the studio to life. There is always something happening behind the scenes that our families may not see, and I’m happy to be part of the team that helps everything run smoothly.
I also help manage our social media, which allows me to combine my love of dance with my creative side. I enjoy capturing the fun, accomplishments, and special moments that happen throughout the year and sharing them with our studio families and community.
Being Erin’s sister makes being part of this studio especially meaningful to me. We get to work together, support one another, and continue a family legacy that means so much to both of us. While Erin may be the one leading the studio, I’m proud to be one of the people beside her, helping wherever I can and cheering on our dancers every step of the way.
I’m so excited to continue being part of the Academy of Dance family and to help create a place where dancers of all ages can feel supported, confident, and inspired to love dance as much as I do!”
