Academy of Dance was the brainchild of JoAnne Mitchell-Agar. She ran this successful studio for decades, launching many dance careers. She was renowned in the dance community for her dedication to clean technique and building strong dancers. In 2002, she sold the studio to her student, Mandy Juby Livings, so she could focus on her work in the school system. Academy continued to grow and is now being revitalized under the direction of Erin Livings. Miss Erin has created a program for our Junior dancers to continue Mrs. Agar’s tradition of technique, artistry, and excellence.
